I just want to stress the imp of history. Help me form a question.
I don't feel history and geography two different subjects. You can;t understand history until u know geography. That's my view.
I really started to understand history when i developed a passion for geography and atlases.
We lack proper geography in pakistani education system, i feel.
Yes i will agree with that!
One of the reasons i like books of A. I Akram (The sword of Allah and Muslim conquest of persia) was that he has explained the stratagies of conqeusts by givng the geography of sites. Infact history and geography are very much interlinked...i think so.
As for fiction its not real so i think its worth a comparison with history...thats real!
Though i like both :)
In addition to history I like story telling...something lyk 'one thousand and one nights' and fictitious tales :)
...for appreciating how one can think innovative and something new and capture the imagination in writing!
